Established in 2024, Storyline Bookshop is an independent neighborhood bookshop with new books and gifts for all ages. Located in the heart of Upper Arlington, at the Tremont Center, Storyline offers curated book collections, rare books, and gifts for book lovers.

Meet our Founder

Janine Sickmeyer is the Founder and Owner of Storyline Bookshop. As a devoted reader and lifelong storyteller, Janine dreamed of one day opening a neighborhood bookshop where bibliophiles could get lost in aisles of books and find community within the walls. When the perfect space became available in the Tremont Center in 2023, Janine knew it was time to make that dream come true, and that’s when Storyline Bookshop came to life.

Janine and her husband reside in Upper Arlington with their 4 young children. Her favorite genres include literary fiction, contemporary romance, upmarket fiction, memoir, and poetry. She is interested in books that spark debate, push boundaries, and create an immersive reading experience.
